Sentinel-1 GRD intensity¶
The core signal uses Sentinel-1 GRD VV/VH backscatter through VITO CDSE openEO. fkb_common.py configures SENTINEL1_GRD, gamma0-terrain, COPERNICUS DEM, and dB conversion after download.
FKB-Tiltak and custom candidates¶
Candidate polygons define where to look. They may come from yearly national FKB-Tiltak file geodatabases, a custom GeoPackage via CANDIDATES_GPKG, or helper-derived/merged candidate sets.
Sentinel-1 coherence¶
senbygg_coh.py uses yearly July-August median coherence rasters. The construction signature is sustained coherence rise as vegetated/decorrelating ground becomes a stable hard target.
Sentinel-2 optical indices¶
senbygg_s2.py uses annual summer NDVI/BSI/brightness composites. The target pattern is sustained NDVI drop plus brightness or bare-soil rise.
CRS notes¶
OpenEO bboxes are WGS84. Geometry operations often use Norwegian projected CRSs such as EPSG:25833/EPSG:5973; some S2/coherence utilities are configured around UTM zone 32. Always verify CRS before mixing layers.
