The validation/ directory contains label builders, site experiments, fusion experiments, sweeps, and metrics.
validation/evaluate.py scores detections against labels using geometry matching in EPSG:25833, MATCH_TOL_M = 20, recall by signal-bearing class, date error relative to label windows, and a precision proxy.
Precision proxy
Labels are not a complete inventory. Unmatched detections are candidate false positives, not guaranteed false detections.
